Project Overview
The Proposed Public Housing Development @ Tampines N1C13 is a residential project aimed at providing modern, functional, and community-focused housing for Singapore’s growing population. The development features an 11-storey studio apartment block comprising 149 units, accompanied by surface parking, an elderly fitness corner, and a central plaza. Designed to encourage social interaction and active living, the project integrates efficient space planning with community-oriented amenities. Sustainability and durability are central to the design, ensuring long-term value and a comfortable living environment for residents. This development also serves as a live demonstration of BIM methodologies in public housing projects, showcasing the benefits of digital construction in large-scale residential developments.
Our Role
Our role in the Proposed Public Housing Development @ Tampines N1C13 was as the BIM Implementation Consultant for the architectural, civil & structural, and MEP divisions. This scope included:
- Implementing BIM protocols and workflows for seamless collaboration among project teams
- Developing coordinated BIM models for architecture, structure, and MEP systems
- Providing on-the-job training and mentorship to the client’s BIM team
- Conducting constructability reviews and clash detection to minimize design and site conflicts
- Monitoring BIM adoption and ensuring deliverables met quality and compliance standards
Through these services, we helped the project team leverage BIM to enhance productivity, improve coordination, and deliver high-quality, sustainable public housing aligned with Singapore’s housing objectives..
