CORENET X is Singapore’s modern digital platform for building submissions, replacing CORENET 2.0. It enables cloud-based, automated, BIM-driven processes using the IFC-SG format, aligned with local regulatory standards.
– Replaces manual processes with automation and digital validation.
– Promotes OpenBIM practices for interoperability.
– Ensures cross-agency collaboration through model standardization.
– Enables faster regulatory approvals.
Corenet 2.0:
The legacy system currently used for all authority submissions in Singapore.
Corenet X:
The new, streamlined digital platform aiming to improve coordination, efficiency, and automation in regulatory submissions.
Gateways are a critical component of CORENET X’s structure. They facilitate streamlined model checking, submission routing, and collaboration across regulatory authorities.
URA's latest circular outlines the CORENET X Implementation Plan, detailing key steps, timelines, and stakeholder responsibilities. All parties should review it for compliance.
To successfully implement CORENET X, companies should:
– Appoint 2 CX Champions (1 for BIM, 1 for Project Management).
– Monitor milestones and project phases.
– Stay updated with regulatory changes and clarifications.
– Evaluate progress regularly and adjust project timelines.
