Project Overview
The Al Ain Hospital project is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, designed to provide advanced medical services within a modern and sustainable environment. The development features a 600-bed hospital complex consisting of two basement levels, a ground floor, a dedicated medical floor, a mechanical floor, and three typical floors. It also includes one main hospital building and eight ancillary buildings, with a total built-up area of approximately 350,000 square meters. The design combines reinforced concrete and structural steel construction to meet functional and safety requirements while incorporating flexibility for future expansion. This large-scale healthcare development required meticulous integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems to meet stringent healthcare standards.
Our Role
Our role in the Al Ain Hospital project was to provide BIM conversion services for project coordination. This scope included:
- Converting project design documents into an accurate, detailed BIM model for multidisciplinary coordination
- Developing MEP system models to ensure proper integration with architectural and structural elements
- Supporting constructability analysis to detect and resolve potential conflicts before construction
- Providing model-based visualizations to assist with planning and stakeholder communication
- Enhancing coordination between all project teams to improve efficiency and reduce on-site issues
Through these services, we contributed to better project integration, reduced design errors, and improved construction planning for this complex healthcare facility older collaboration, and minimize potential delays in delivering this major healthcare facility.
