Project Overview
The Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Hospital is one of Kuwait’s largest healthcare facilities, designed to accommodate 1,120 beds within a modern, patient-centered environment. Located in Surra, the hospital covers a total built-up area of approximately 270,000 square meters. The facility integrates advanced medical technology, specialized treatment centers, and comprehensive patient care services. Its design focuses on operational efficiency, infection control, and future scalability, ensuring it can adapt to evolving healthcare demands. Given its scale and complexity, precise coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines was essential to ensure the hospital’s seamless operation upon completion.
Our Role
Our role in the Learning Resource Centre project was to provide BIM consultancy and modeling services at Our role in the Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Hospital project was to provide BIM conversion services for project coordination. This scope included:
- Converting existing project design data into a detailed BIM model for use in multidisciplinary coordination
- Identifying and resolving potential conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP systems
- Providing accurate 3D visualizations to support planning and construction sequencing
- Enhancing communication among project stakeholders through a centralized BIM model
- Supporting the coordination process to reduce errors and improve on-site efficiency
Through these services, we helped the project team achieve greater accuracy in construction planning, improve stakeholder collaboration, and minimize potential delays in delivering this major healthcare facility.
