Project Overview

The Proposed New UIC Building @ 5 Shenton Way is a landmark mixed-development project in Singapore’s Central Business District, designed to redefine the city’s skyline with its contemporary architecture and integrated functionality. The development comprises a 55-storey residential tower and a 25-storey commercial tower, along with surface parking, a central plaza, and an elderly fitness corner. The architectural design features complex façade treatments and modular articulation to create a distinctive visual identity. This project represents a fusion of high-density urban living and premium office space, with a strong focus on design innovation, structural precision, and sustainable building practices.

Our Role

Our role in the Proposed New UIC Building was as the BIM Implementation Consultant, providing expert guidance and technical support to the architectural team and collaborating professionals. This scope included:

  • Defining BIM deliverables and standards for the project’s core team
  • Coordinating complex façade design schemes with multi-disciplinary stakeholders
  • Developing specialty BIM models for modular and high-detail façade articulation
  • Monitoring BIM progress and ensuring adherence to defined project protocols
  • Facilitating collaboration between eight core professional disciplines within a centralized BIM framework

Through these contributions, we ensured accurate design integration, minimized potential construction conflicts, and supported the timely delivery of this architecturally complex and high-profile development.
