Project Overview
The Proposed Public Housing Development @ Jurong West N5C15 is a community-focused residential project designed to enhance urban living in Singapore’s Jurong West district. The development comprises an 11-storey studio apartment block with 204 units, complemented by surface parking, an elderly fitness corner, and a central plaza. The design promotes social engagement and accessibility while meeting high standards for sustainability, safety, and long-term durability. Serving as one of the live BIM projects undertaken by Surbana International Consultants, this development highlights the efficiency and precision that digital construction methodologies bring to public housing initiatives in Singapore.
Our Role
Our role in the Proposed Public Housing Development @ Jurong West N5C15 was as the BIM Implementation Consultant for the architectural, civil & structural, and MEP divisions. This scope included:
- Establishing and enforcing BIM processes and standards for the project
- Producing coordinated BIM models across all design disciplines
- Providing mentoring and technical guidance to the client’s BIM core team
- Performing constructability checks and clash detection to prevent on-site issues
- Ensuring smooth integration of multi-disciplinary designs for improved build quality and project delivery
By implementing these BIM strategies, we enabled the project team to achieve better coordination, minimize delays, and deliver a high-quality residential environment aligned with Singapore’s public housing vision.
