BIM Coordinator Job ⚡

Role & Responsibilities

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong 3D & 2D modeling skills.
  • Knowledge in material handling, rendering, lighting, and animation.
  • Familiarity with ISO processes.
  • Ability to prepare General Arrangement drawings, plans, elevations, and section details for structures and systems.

Role Accountabilities:

1. Maintain CDE platforms (ACC/BIM360), ensuring meticulous documentation of files.

2. Assist BIM/Design Manager in timely project submissions according to milestones.

3. Support BIM/Design Manager in VDC walkthrough presentations for clients/owners.

4. Conduct BIM Meetings with consultants, emphasising clash detection and model issues.

5. Assign tasks to modellers and vigilantly monitor the quality of their work.

6. Prepare comprehensive reports on BIM issues using Excel and Navisworks.

7. Be able to develop when needed detailed 3D models of various Services using Revit and AutoCAD.

8. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate design inputs into BIM models, involving coordination, clash detection, and resolution.

9. Generate Shop drawings submissions in Sheet Plan layout and detail section plan.

10. Ensure BIM models strictly adhere to industry standards and project requirements.

11. Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, minimising errors and rework during construction.

12. Prepare 3D visualisations, renderings, and animations for design reviews presentations with subcontractors and clients.

13. Prepare Layout Plan Drawings submissions for consultant approval to construction.

14. Extract quantities and generate material takeoffs from BIM models for cost estimation and procurement purposes.

15. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members through the BIM model, serving as a central file for sharing information and resolving conflicts.

16. Create and update BIM elements individually and through a team.

17. Prepare documentations with standard templates and legends for submission.

18. Work closely with design engineers and BIM Lead in preparing CAD drawings/BIM models.

19. Attend site meetings with project managers, clients, and other trades, ensuring smooth project operations.

20. Maintain BIM Libraries and standards in accordance with organisational and project requirements.

21. Develop schedules for BIM model audits and review BIM workflows.

22. Explore various BIM Authoring Tools and assist specific clients in content creation through pilot projects.

Preference Will be Given to:

Candidates who have worked on overseas projects.

Candidates who have worked on Singapore projects.

Someone willing to take lead and manage a team along with contributing individually.

Able to showcase past team handling experience.

Working Hours – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Singapore Time.
