SAUDI ARABIA
RED SEA GLOBAL

Project Overview
The Shura Hotel West 1 MEP package is part of the ambitious Red Sea Project (TRSP), a giga-scale luxury tourism initiative by Red Sea Global (RSG) in Saudi Arabia. Designed to redefine global standards in eco-tourism, the development integrates sustainability, heritage, and cutting-edge infrastructure in one of the Kingdom’s most pristine coastal zones. Shura Hotel West 1 forms a key hospitality component in this landmark destination, emphasizing world-class guest experiences, seamless building services, and net-positive environmental impact. The project is located on one of the many islands of the Red Sea archipelago and falls under Phase 1 of TRSP, which targets over 3,200 hotel keys and extensive supporting infrastructure, including air, land, and marine transport, all centered on ecological and wellness principles. Our scope under this package covers comprehensive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works—from detailed design coordination and shop drawings to installation, commissioning, and compliance with RSG’s stringent sustainability and quality standards. This MEP package calls for execution excellence across a high-performance building envelope while integrating with complex service systems, including BIM-led coordination and adherence to LEED principles. With tight timelines and logistical challenges due to its remote island location, our role also extends into interfacing with other trades and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and operational readiness.
Our Role
Trusted Expertise

In the Shura Hotel West 1 project, our team served as a key delivery partner for the full Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scope, supporting Red Sea Global’s vision for sustainable, high-end hospitality infrastructure. Our role spanned end-to-end MEP engineering services, including detailed design coordination, BIM integration, preparation of shop drawings, and technical documentation aligned with the project's execution plan. We ensured that all systems were designed to meet the performance, safety, and environmental benchmarks set by RSG, while also supporting constructability and ease of maintenance. Operating within a fast-paced program and a geographically remote site, we provided proactive design solutions and cross-discipline collaboration to minimize on-site clashes and improve installation efficiency. Our involvement played a vital part in ensuring service reliability, energy efficiency, and seamless handover to operations for one of the Red Sea Project’s landmark hotel assets.
